About Dibert Home - Jamestown, NY

The Goodell and Dibert Homes provide residents with a relaxed comfortable living experience with private rooms, spacious living rooms and outdoor porches to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature during the nice weather. Both residences are located on Fairmount Avenue in West Ellicott Jamestown, New York, strategically located between the lakeside village of Lakewood and the largest urban center in the county, the City of Jamestown. Neighbors to the residences include Zion Covenant Church, a vibrant and growing religious community and Brigiotta’s Farmland Store and Deli, a business that offers fresh produce from local farms.

The Goodell Home is an attractive Georgian-style brick structure that was originally the private home of a prominent family in the area and now is home to 10 residents. Robert Ostrom and Timothy Magnuson (ROTM, inc.) purchased the Home in 1985 from Audrey Feather, who was operating it as a senior residence. In 1986 the partnership purchased the Dibert Home, named for area philanthropists Grant and Winnie Dibert and converted the grand Colonial-style structure into an assisted-living residence for 12 individuals.
