About Independence 4 Seniors - Hinsdale, IL

Since 2002, we have been providing senior care services in the Chicago area, including Cook, DuPage and surrounding counties in Illinois. We strive to make a difference in the care of older adults, a field that is moving rapidly to the forefront of family concerns. The question on the minds of many Americans is “How will we care for our aging loved ones?” Anyone who has experienced the twilight years of beloved relatives knows that the comfort and reassurance of being at home means so much. As owners of Independence-4-Seniors, we understand. We understand because we have been there. We have provided this senior care ourselves for our own loved ones and we know what a difference the right kind of home care can make. We wish to extend to our clients nothing less.

Independence-4-Seniors is a Hinsdale-based company involved in the wellbeing of others: Loved ones, mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers who wish to remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible. Our senior care is provided anywhere needed: in the private home, retirement community, nursing home, hospital or rehabilitation center. Our sole focus is to provide the finest, most compassionate senior care that our home care clients need and expect.

Elder care services at Independence-4-Seniors start with a free in-home assessment that is scheduled and performed by a Registered Nurse for each client prior to beginning services.

This meeting accomplishes many things:

1. Proper assessment of the client’s specific needs, making sure our elder care services can be safely and properly performed.
2. Performing a safety evaluation of the senior's home and recommending any necessary modifications.
3. Determining the senior's preferences related to the personality and skills of an appropriate caregiver.
4. Reviewing cost of care, billing and client services agreement.
5. Describing the ongoing management that will occur by the agency manager who is a Registered Nurse. She will make ongoing elder care recommendations as the senior's needs may change over time and is available 24/7.

Upon completion of the in-home assessment, a caregiver is selected and may receive additional training in order to meet the specific needs of that senior. You always have the right to meet and approve of the caregiver prior to the start of the assignment.

The Independence-4-Seniors experience is about extraordinary relationships with caregivers based on dignity, choice, quality and safety. We view aging as a normal life process. The client-centered services utilized by Independence-4-Seniors encompass life enrichment for the elderly and for the organization’s exceptional caregivers. The system carefully matches a client with a caregiver based on the client’s specific needs, and services are delivered with empathy, kindness and understanding. We are a licensed home services agency by the Illinois Department of Public Health. All of our caregivers are thoroughly screened, insured, bonded and receive annual continuing education and training.
