South Austin Personal Care Home of Texas is an alternative to a nursing home for your elderly loved one. Our personal care home is a family style environment with a quiet relaxed feel to it. We care for 2 ladies at this time in our 5 bedroom home, set in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Each lady has her own comfortable, private bedroom with carpeted floors; nice size window and cable hook up. We serve 3 meals daily and also offer snacks. We assist with personal care such as bathing, oral hygiene, shampooing hair and other personal needs. We also assist with toileting, wheelchair transfer and monitor medications. We provide housekeeping, weekly laundry service for personal items not requiring dry cleaning, pressing or special finishing.
Doctors visit our clients monthly and nurses visit when needed. Our clients also have podiatry services to help keep them well groomed. The pharmacy that delivers our client’s medication is very competent and prompt.
