The Horizon Senior Living II - Clare, MI

Here at Horizon Senior Living II, we try to make the living experience as much like home as possible. From our caring staff of nurses and assistants to the decorations on the walls, as soon as you walk through the doors, you will get a sense of warmth. We are an elderly care facility that provides basic care to residents. Our nursing assistants help with bathing, dressing and some feeding if the resident is not able to get to the dining area. Residents receive three well-balanced meals a day that are catered to their dietary needs. The facility has an activity room where residents can go to watch television, read a book or simply talk with others in the facility. One of the things that we enjoy seeing is the family visiting the resident. We encourage visits before a certain time, and if there are any emergencies, we will contact the family as soon as possible. Residents can bring some of their own furniture such as a chair or nightstand. Most rooms are shared by two people, but private rooms are available. The facility is located near several shopping centers, and we encourage families to take their loved ones on an outing whenever possible. Transportation to doctorÆs appointments is provided by the facility.
